Per #7 (lead decision: always-on).

  • src/lib/test.ts: a debugger; as the first statement of the AssertionError constructor, so an attached browser debugger pauses immediately before every assertion throw; a no-op with no debugger attached.
  • Verified normal runs unchanged (perf test unaffected), and (via CDP) that a Debugger.paused event fires in the constructor before the throw.
